CLEVELAND, Ohio October 18, 2026 Cleveland boxing trainer and strategist Scott Neal has released The TRU Art of Living: Applying Boxing Philosophy, Polarity, and Eastern Strategy to the High-Speed Match of Everyday Life, the newest title in his “the tru art of boxing” book series. The Kindle edition is available now on Amazon (amazon.com/dp/B0HNDJT6KW), with paperback and hardcover editions arriving this week.

The series on Amazon: The TRU Art of Living (Kindle) amazon.com/dp/B0HNDJT6KW Â· The TRU Art of Boxing amazon.com/dp/B0DD77KBBY  The TRU Art of Boxing: Young Fighter’s Edition a.co/d/02lgDmxs

The TRU Art of Living takes the system Neal has taught in the gym for over a decade and aims it at the fights nobody trains for the layoff, the diagnosis, the betrayal, the deal that falls short. Across thirteen chapters, each built like a round, readers get a named drill, a real-world case study, and a worksheet to put the lesson to work the same day. A Symptom Index up front lets readers go straight to the chapter that matches the problem in front of them, and all thirteen worksheets are fillable on a phone at no extra cost.

“Life doesn’t fight fair,” Neal says. “You can do everything right and STILL get caught by a punch you never saw coming. What you do next decides the fight. This book hands you the system a fighter trusts when the punches land control what’s yours, answer chaos with a game plan, and turn pressure into position. Then put the work in.”

One series, three corners of the fight. The TRU Art of Living completes a three-book series Neal has built from a lifetime in the gym. It began with The TRU Art of Boxing, his foundation book on technique, defense, and strategy inside the ring how to slip, counter, change levels, and keep your head off the line. Next came The TRU Art of Boxing: Young Fighter’s Edition, the same lessons rewritten for young readers, following a young fighter named Ren as he learns discipline, heart, and how to solve problems round by round. The TRU Art of Living takes the third corner: the philosophy carried out of the ring and into everyday life polarity, the five elements, deception and strategy, and cultivating the heart aimed at careers, business, and everyday pressure. Technique for the ring, a story for the young fighter, and a system for life: three books, one way of fighting.

About the author. Scott Neal gloved up at fourteen, fighting at 106 pounds, and won two consecutive Golden Gloves titles by seventeen, before a life-threatening injury took boxing away from him. He rebuilt himself through martial arts, earning his Nikyu and gold at the 2001 national tournament, and fought his way back to the corner as a trainer and strategist. Since 2014 he has coached at Old Angle Boxing Gym, guiding fighters to Golden Gloves titles in 2017 and 2025, and he runs Neal Boxing Elite, his volunteer program at Cudell Recreation Center in Cleveland. He has worked with top athletes in boxing and MMA, serves as a trustee of the Cleveland Golden Gloves, was named Coach of the Year in 2022, and was inducted into the Ohio Former Boxers Hall of Fame in 2023. He founded TRUassassin Fight Gear in 2010 and the Grassroots Elite Boxing Foundation in 2026.
